Account Enrollment and Access

You supply this information when registering for Trend Micro Cloud One. It is necessary to collect this data to provide the contracted service, as well as manage the operations and security functions of this product. If you do not want Trend Micro to access this data, you should not sign up for the Cloud One platform.

The Name field can be a pseudonym and does not have to be a real name. When inviting users to your Cloud One account they must also first register as a unique user for Cloud One. If you wish to have your user information completely deleted, please contact Trend Micro support.

Trend Micro uses Marketo for trial engagement and marketing-related activities.

User Authentication

When you register for Trend Micro Cloud One, you must supply a password. Passwords are transmitted to Trend Micro over HTTPS and stored as an unrecoverable salted hash.

Chat Window

In certain regions, Trend Micro offers an optional in-product chat window which customers can use to get help or request a meeting. Email address is provided by users during the meeting booking process only and is not collected in any other chat functions.

Trend Micro uses Drift to provide the chatbot service.
