Customers who are installing or upgrading to the Deep Security Agent for Linux 20.0.0-7943 / 20.0.0-8137 / 20.0.0-8268 / 20.0.0-8438 may encounter following issues when either the Firewall(FW), Intrusion Prevention(IPS) or Web Reputation(WRS) modules are enabled. (Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security is NOT IMPACTED)
Issue #1: either one of below
Software Update: Web Reputation Module Installation Failed
Software Update: Intrusion Prevention Module Installation Failed
Software Update: Firewall Module Installation Failed
Software Update: Web Reputation Module Installation Failed
Agent / Application Error
Issue #2:
Software Update: Agent Software Upgrade Failed (Agent / Application error)
The issues above happen with the following conditions:
Deep Security Manager version = 20.0.854, 20.0.864 or 20.0.879 with KSP 20.0.1.xxxx imported
Firewall, Web Reputation Service (WRS), or Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) feature enabled
Fresh installing the DSA for Linux listed above or Upgrade the DSA from version <= 20.0.0-7719
