To support the latest Domino release 8.5.3, apply any of the applicable patches or hot fixes indicated below:

  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN AIX Patch 4, Build 3678
  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN Solaris Critical Patch Build 3752
  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN i5/OS Patch 7 Build 5708 ·

To support the latest Domino 9.0 release, apply the following patches:

For IBM i/7.3 support, apply the following:

  • Domino 9.0.1 Fixpack 6
  • SMD 3.0 for As400 Patch7 and Hot Fix Build 5716
  • Hot Fix Build 5716 (Contact Technical Support to request for this hot fix.)
 
Make sure to install 1.7 JRE 5770JV1 option 14 from the Software Catalog provided by IBM i7.3.Set JAVA_HOME environment variable. Execute this command in QShell:

export -s JAVA_HOME=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk70/32bit

As this specified JAVA_Home environment variable is only active in the current QSHELL session, SMD Installation program needs to be started in the same QSHELL session.

Trend Micro released SMLD 5 to support the following platforms only: Windows, AIX 64bit, SLES 64bit for system Z, and RHEL 64bit for system Z.

To support Windows 2012, apply EN Windows Patch 6 B3182.

To support the latest Domino release 9.0, apply the following patches:

To support the latest Domino release 11 for ScanMail for Lotus Domino for AIX, apply the following patch:

Currently SMLD 5.5 only released the 32-bit version for Linux platforms. To support 64-bit Domino, install SMLD 5.6.

To support Windows 2012, you have to apply 5.5 EN Windows Patch1 , Build 3144

To support the latest Domino release 9.0, apply the following patches:

SMID 5.6 64-bit supports Domino 64-bit + Suse12 64-bit.

SMID 5.6 32-bit is also suitable in the Domino 32-bit + Suse12 64-bit environment. However, to have a successful installation in the SuSE 12 X64 environment, it is required to install “libstdc++.so.5” in Suse 12 beforehand because “/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5” is not installed in Suse 12 by default, as it belongs to the legacy package for Suse 12.

Otherwise, smdcm will fail to load and the following error is encountered:

libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
