- Log in to the Apex One management console.
- Go to Agents > Agent Management.
- Right-click the desired domain group or endpoint, then select Setting > Scan Settings > Real-time Scan Settings.
- Go to the Scan Exclusion tab, and under Scan Exclusion List (Directories), type "\Device\HardDiskVolumeShadowCopy*" then click Add (plus).

- Click Save.
- Log in to the Apex Central management console.
- Go to Policies > Policy Management, select policy name or create a new policy.
- Select Real-time Scan under Anti-Malware Scans.
- Go to the Scan Exclusion tab, and under Scan Exclusion List (Directories), type "\Device\HardDiskVolumeShadowCopy*" then click Add (plus).

- Click Deploy.
