  • The TM plug-in is enabled by default in IE, but not in Firefox.
  • You can use Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers without the need of browser add-ons.
  • If proxy settings are configured on Windows 10, HTTPS Web Threat Protection cannot work on Microsoft Edge.
 

For WFBS-SVC 6.7

The following browsers support Web blocking:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge (supports Legacy and Edge Chromium)
  • Internet Explorer
  • Firefox

HTTPS Web Threat Protection needs to be enabled under Global Security Agent Settings for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge support.
 

Do the following:

  1. Go to Policies.
  2. Select Global Security Agent Settings.
  3. Click on the Security Settings tab.

  4. Scroll down and look for the HTTPS Web Threat Protection section.
  5. Tick Enable HTTPS checking for Web Reputation and URL Filtering on Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

  6. Click Save.
