Upon enabling HTTPS inspection, Cloud Edge will automatically create a self-signed certificate and send it to the client when the client accessed an HTTPS site which belongs to a category that Cloud Edge decrypts.

In this case, Cloud Edge works as its own CA. Therefore, imported certificate should be self-signed certificate, not the one issued from the third-party CA.

To prevent the warning message, import the Cloud Edge certificate to the trusted root CA of the browser.

  1. Log into the Cloud Edge Cloud Console.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Certificate Management.
  3. Click Export to download the CloudEdge.crt file.
