To make the Log on with domain credentials box appear on the console, verify the following:

Checking if the Basic and Windows Authentication role services are installed: 

  1. Open the Server Manager of the TMCM host machine.
  2. Expand the Roles menu from the left panel.
  3. Click the Web Server (IIS) role.
  4. Find the Role Services section in the right panel and click Add Role Services.
  5. Go to the Security (Installed) section and check if the Basic Authentication and Windows Authentication services are installed.

    If not installed, do the following:

    1. Select the checkboxes for Basic Authentication and Windows Authentication.
    2. Click Next.
  6. Click Install.
  7. Restart the following services when the Basic Aunthentication and Windows Authentication are installed:
    • IIS Admin Service
    • Trend Micro Common CGI
    • Trend Micro Control Manager
    • Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
    • World Wide Publishing Service
  8. Verify if the problem persists.

Checking if the Integrated Windows Authentication option is used:

  1. Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  2. Expand the Web Sites section.
  3. Highlight the Default Web Site (or the custom website TMCM is installed).
  4. Right click and select Properties.
  5. Click the Directory Security tab.
  6. Click the Edit... button under the Authentication and access control section.
  7. Under the Authenticated access section, tick the Integrated Windows Authentication checkbox.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK again and close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  10. Restart the following services:
    • IIS Admin Service
    • Trend Micro Common CGI
    • Trend Micro Control Manager
    • Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
  11. Verify if the problem persists.

Checking if the Global Catalog is enabled on the Active Directory server.

  1. Go to Administrative Tools > Active Directory Sites and Services.
  2. Click Sites then expand Servers.
  3. Highlight the Active Directory server that is managing the TMCM server.
  4. Click the plus sign (+) next to the Active Directory server to expand the menu options.
  5. Right click on the NTDS settings and select Properties.
  6. Go to the General tab and confirm if the Global Catalog checkbox is ticked. If it is not, enable it with the help of your AD Domain Administrator.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart the TMCM server.
  9. Verify if the problem persists.

If problem persists, flush the DNS with the following steps:

  1. On the TMCM server, open the Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following commands:

    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns

  2. Verify if the problem persists.
