To make the Log on with domain credentials box appear on the console, verify the following:
Checking if the Basic and Windows Authentication role services are installed:
- Open the Server Manager of the TMCM host machine.
- Expand the Roles menu from the left panel.
- Click the Web Server (IIS) role.
- Find the Role Services section in the right panel and click Add Role Services.
- Go to the Security (Installed) section and check if the Basic Authentication and Windows Authentication services are installed.
If not installed, do the following:
- Select the checkboxes for Basic Authentication and Windows Authentication.
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Restart the following services when the Basic Aunthentication and Windows Authentication are installed:
- IIS Admin Service
- Trend Micro Common CGI
- Trend Micro Control Manager
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- World Wide Publishing Service
- Verify if the problem persists.
Checking if the Integrated Windows Authentication option is used:
- Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
- Expand the Web Sites section.
- Highlight the Default Web Site (or the custom website TMCM is installed).
- Right click and select Properties.
- Click the Directory Security tab.
- Click the Edit... button under the Authentication and access control section.
- Under the Authenticated access section, tick the Integrated Windows Authentication checkbox.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again and close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
- Restart the following services:
- IIS Admin Service
- Trend Micro Common CGI
- Trend Micro Control Manager
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- Verify if the problem persists.
Checking if the Global Catalog is enabled on the Active Directory server.
- Go to Administrative Tools > Active Directory Sites and Services.
- Click Sites then expand Servers.
- Highlight the Active Directory server that is managing the TMCM server.
- Click the plus sign (+) next to the Active Directory server to expand the menu options.
- Right click on the NTDS settings and select Properties.
- Go to the General tab and confirm if the Global Catalog checkbox is ticked. If it is not, enable it with the help of your AD Domain Administrator.
- Click OK.
- Restart the TMCM server.
- Verify if the problem persists.
If problem persists, flush the DNS with the following steps:
- On the TMCM server, open the Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns - Verify if the problem persists.
If none of these resolved the issue, contact Trend Micro Technical Support or your Technical Account Manager.
