Summary
SMID task may not be loaded after uninstalling 5.6.1 Hotfix because of upgrading OpenSSL. This issue mostly occurs in Domino 9.0 and 9.0.1.
The affected hotfixes are as follows:
- 5.6.1 EN Patch 5 hotfix B5017 or later (32/64 bit)
- 5.6.1 JP Patch 3 hotfix B5019 or later (32/64 bit)

The program can’t start because libssl-1_1-x64.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

To resolve this issue, please do the following steps:
- Take EN Patch 5 64-bit hotfix B5017 as an example, extract the contents of the " smid_56_win64_en_sp1_patch5_hfb5017.exe" hotfix file to a temporary folder.
- Copy the following binary files from “FileGroup1” to SMD binary directory, such as “C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\ScanMail for Domino\program\V5.6.1.4920”.
- The binary list for SMD 32 bit:
- libssl-1_1.dll
- libcrypto-1_1.dll
- libcurl.dll
- zlibwapi.dll
- The binary list for SMD 64 bit:
- libssl-1_1-x64.dll
- libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll
- libcurl.dll
- Load the SMID tasks again.
