For macOS 15 (Sequoia) and above

  1. Click Continue in the "Set Up Required Permissions" window.
  2. Allow System Extension.

  3. Allow Full Disk Access.

    Full Disk Access blocks applications without permission from accessing files on the drives. This will give the Endpoint Security extension privileges to read and write on the disks for scanning.


For macOS 13 (Ventura) and macOS 14 (Sonoma)

  1. Click Continue in the "Set Up Required Permissions" window.
  2. Allow System Extension.
    • For macOS 13.3 and above:

      Module state

    • For macOS 13.2 and lower:

      Module state

  3. Allow Full Disk Access.

    Apex One (Mac) uses the Endpoint Security and NetFilter extension. These need to be added under System Extensions to use functionality of the MacOS.
